Palletways Iberia adds three depots to expand coverage in Portugal
Palletways Iberia says it has added three Portuguese depots through new member THC and expanded facilities operated by Garland and Grupo Moldtrans, extending pallet-freight coverage across the centre-south, Lisbon and the north.
Palletways Iberia announced on 28 September that it is expanding its Portuguese pallet-freight network with three depots. New member THC – Transportes e Logística will operate from approximately 4,000 m² at Arruda dos Vinhos, covering the Algarve, Alentejo and the south bank of Lisbon. Existing member Garland has opened a 3,200 m² depot at São Domingos de Rana for the Lisbon area, while Grupo Moldtrans has started operations from a 1,500 m² site at Perafita, near Porto, covering parts of the northern coast and strengthening links with Galicia. Palletways says the additions are intended to improve network coverage and transit times. These are company-reported developments and expected benefits.
