DP World opens 10,000-square-metre distribution centre in Thailand

DP World says its new 10,000-square-metre Bang Na distribution centre is open, adding round-the-clock storage and distribution capacity linked to Laem Chabang Port and Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor.
DP World announced on 2 October that its new contract-logistics distribution centre in Bang Na, Greater Bangkok, is open. The company says the approximately 10,000-square-metre facility provides 24-hour storage and distribution for high-value, time-sensitive cargo, including consumer electronics, semiconductors and automotive products. It connects the Greater Bangkok area with Laem Chabang Port and manufacturing centres in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor. DP World says the opening is part of its wider Asia-Pacific contract-logistics expansion, with additional facilities planned in Kuala Lumpur and the Philippines later this year.
