Beatson Clark plans £3.6 million investment in four palletisers
The Rotherham glass container manufacturer plans four new palletisers over the next 12 months, supporting both standard UK and Euro pallet formats.
Beatson Clark says it is investing more than £3.6 million in four new palletisers at its Rotherham glassworks over the next 12 months.
The machines will support both standard UK pallets and the smaller Euro format. The manufacturer expects the additional packing flexibility to support European export opportunities, including business through sister company Pont Packaging and its distributor network.
This is a planned investment programme, rather than confirmation that all four machines are already operating. The announcement also describes an existing Euro palletiser and wider investments in decoration equipment and operator protection.
