Kuehne+Nagel reports UAE terminal transfers taking 12–15 days

The logistics provider reports longer UAE terminal-transfer times and heavy congestion at Khor Fakkan and Sharjah, based on its 30 October update.
Kuehne+Nagel reports that terminal transfers from Khor Fakkan and Fujairah to Jebel Ali, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi were taking approximately 12–15 days, compared with around five days previously.
Its 30 October update puts average vessel waiting time at Khor Fakkan at 7.25 days and berth waits at Sharjah at approximately three days. The company says constrained yards and diverted cargo are adding pressure to operations.
Some carriers were reducing allocations, although the update did not report widespread direct port omissions. Kuehne+Nagel advises shippers to allow more lead time and consider different carriers and gateways.
These are the provider’s dated operational observations, not guaranteed transit times or confirmation that every UAE shipment is delayed.
