Fives reports that French miller Moulins Dumée inaugurated a pallet-to-robot order-fulfilment installation at its Gron facility on 24 September. The system, designed and implemented by Fives with support from Etyo, combines a palletising robot, seven autonomous mobile robots, two fork mobile robots and a warehouse control system. Fives says the installation can process up to 515 flour bags per hour and reduces manual handling; those capacity and benefit figures are the supplier’s own. The system supports mixed-product pallet building and export-container loading.
