Kesko selects Manhattan warehouse system for five distribution centres

The Finnish retailer plans to replace its grocery warehouse management system, initially covering five distribution centres before extending to a new site and terminal operations.
Kesko has selected Manhattan ActiveWarehouse to replace the legacy warehouse management system used by its grocery business. Manhattan announced the selection on 13 October.
The initial scope covers five distribution centres. Kesko says a greenfield site in 2029–30 and terminal hub operations will follow. The retailer expects to use agents for wave coordination, labour and warehouse associate tasks, while exploring additional inbound applications.
This is a software selection and planned rollout, not confirmation that deployment is complete. No measured productivity improvement or contract value was disclosed.
