Gideon makes TREY autonomous forklift commercially available for trailer pallet handling

Gideon says its TREY autonomous forklift is commercially available in North America for trailer loading and unloading, with existing deployments in manufacturing, food distribution and 3PL operations.
Gideon announced on 7 October 2026 that its TREY autonomous forklift is commercially available across North America and already deployed at automotive manufacturing plants, food and beverage distribution centres, and third-party logistics operations. The company says the system handles variable trailer conditions and pallet orientations, including repositioning pallets during unloading, and can detect dunnage that needs staff intervention. Gideon reports throughput of up to 28 single- or double-stacked pallets or cages per hour and compatibility with more than 119 load-carrier types. These performance and deployment details are company-reported. TREY is offered in medium- and heavy-duty versions; Gideon lists the heavy-duty model at 6,000 lb payload and the medium-duty model at 3,500 lb. The product announcement describes dock automation for warehouses and manufacturing sites, not an independently verified performance study.
