Festo and CODI to demonstrate gantry palletizer at PACK EXPO
Festo has announced that CODI Manufacturing's FlexStack Pro gantry palletizer will feature at its PACK EXPO booth in Chicago from 18 to 21 October.
Festo's 13 October release describes FlexStack Pro as a system for palletizing or depalletizing boxes weighing 44–110 lb, with stated throughput of four to ten boxes per minute. These figures are supplier specifications, not independently verified production results.
The machine uses Festo's FPaKit pre-engineered handling system, integrating motion axes, motors, drives, controls, cabling and software. The exhibition is at McCormick Place, booth N-6132. Festo also plans demonstrations of washdown electric motion, adaptive grippers and interchangeable PLC connectivity.
