DCS releases white paper on coordinating warehouse automation and labour

Designed Conveyor Systems has published a white paper examining how warehouse execution software can coordinate automation, order priorities and labour across distribution operations.
Designed Conveyor Systems published a new white paper on 7 October addressing coordination between warehouse automation systems. It argues that individually efficient robots, shuttles and storage systems can still create bottlenecks when their control layers operate separately.
The paper explores multi-agent orchestration within warehouse execution software, including continuous work release, real-time resource allocation and incorporating labour into the same coordination model. This is a supplier-authored guidance release, not an announcement of a new installation or independently measured productivity gains.
