SSO Logistics adds first electric van for WA-postcode pallet deliveries

Pallet-Track member SSO Logistics has invested £54,000 in its first electric vehicle, which will handle pallet deliveries in the WA postcode area.
Haydock and St Helens-based SSO Logistics has added its first electric vehicle to its fleet, according to a Pallet-Track announcement published on 12 October. The company invested £54,000 in a Renault electric van for pallet deliveries within the WA postcode area it serves for the network.
The vehicle carries a She’s Electric livery devised by group chief executive Peter Draper. SSO says the design also celebrates increasing female representation in the business, following Debbie Shepherd becoming its first female director. The announcement does not provide measured operating-cost or emissions savings.
