DSV and CMA CGM agree biofuel shipping programme targeting 12,000 tonnes of CO2 reductions

DSV will use CMA CGM’s ACT+ shipping service in a two-year agreement targeting lower ocean-freight emissions through second-generation biofuels.
DSV and CMA CGM announced an agreement on 7 October under which the freight forwarder will use the shipping group’s ACT+ service. The companies target a reduction of 12,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions over two years through second-generation UCOME-based biofuels.
The agreement expands lower-carbon ocean transport options for DSV customers moving goods through international supply chains. The emissions figure is a stated target, not a reduction already achieved; the announcement does not specify individual customer allocations or shipping routes.
