HMRC says businesses using the Trader Support Service should pre-enrol for its new platform before 20 October. From that date, all goods movements between Great Britain and Northern Ireland must be submitted through the new service; the existing platform will stop accepting new movements.
HMRC has urged Trader Support Service users to prepare for the move to its new platform. Registered businesses are expected to receive invitation emails from 1 October and should pre-enrol before 20 October. All goods movements between Great Britain and Northern Ireland taking place on or after 20 October must use the new platform; the current service will no longer accept new movements. HMRC says customs processes and businesses’ underlying legal obligations are not changing. The service supports compliance with the Windsor Framework and is operated by Netcompany.
