Aldi announces multi-billion pound commitment to British suppliers

Aldi's own press office states the retailer will invest GBP 5bn through long-term agreements with UK suppliers across fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat and eggs, including a GBP 1.1bn commitment to British egg production.
