The proposed purchase of Apache Products’ operating assets and real estate would expand UFP Packaging’s PalletOne network on the US Gulf Coast. Closing is expected around 16 November.

UFP Industries has announced a roughly $27 million transaction for the operating assets and real estate of Apache Products, which trades as Acme Skid in Silsbee, Texas.

The business manufactures stringer and heat-treated pallets. UFP says the acquisition would add approximately $55 million in annual sales and 165 employees, strengthening its PalletOne manufacturing network serving Gulf Coast customers.

The Silsbee operation is intended to join UFP Packaging’s existing network. The announcement identifies industrial and petrochemical customers as important markets for the expanded footprint.

Although the release describes an acquisition, it states that closing is expected on or around 16 November 2026. The deal should therefore not yet be treated as completed. The quoted sales figure describes the acquired business’s annual sales, not an additional profit forecast.
