HSE prosecution follows fatal timber-pallet conveyor incident

HSE reports that a builders merchant was fined after a worker was fatally crushed by a three-tonne pallet of timber on a conveyor. The prosecution notice says earlier dangerous access practices had been identified; the incident occurred in 2024.
